It would be helpful to have closed captioning and the ability to slow down videos. Some of them are very quick and it would be helpful for my students if I could slow them down sometimes.

Sometimes the videos are very fast paced. Albeit the topic would be suitable for the students, it could be too easy to miss some crucial info. So it would be great if the settings that teacher gives to eg a YT video would also be saved and video playback started with those settings. Surely, everyone should have the opportunity to change them as pleased but it would be great if the default was set by the teacher.

Being able to increase the video speed would help me focus, especially on boring videos bc they seem to speak too slow all the time. There should also be the options of live caption regardless. Personally, I need captions because I constantly mishear people irl and videos so it would be helpful. Captions help me focus
