Media Options & Collab Boards

So I write to you kind people again in the hopes that you will hear me out. It was I who came begging on my knees to bring back the timer and you guys did it. I have never felt more heard by a company before. I pray we find a similar solution this time around.
So in my 5th grade class I had a boy post a semi offensive GIF in our collaboration board activity. It has been a few weeks since I had last used Nearpod but I remembered being able to specifically turn off GIFs on the collab board. So I reach out to support and they show me where to do it, low and behold their screenshot shows them also turning off GIFs on the collab board as it is active. So support even has outdated information on the topic at this point.
Well, come to find out, they have removed the incredibly convenient option to edit the collab board settings in real time. Now you must plan ahead, edit the lesson, navigate to the collab board, and change the settings before ever launching the lesson.
Look, I am a teacher, I love to plan, but a product like Nearpod is normally one I will throw on, on the fly and as a supplement to my other lessons. This past time was during veterans day and I just wanted to give the kiddos a little more information about vets in general so I quickly launched the lesson and got them in towards the end of the day.
Can we please consider re-adding the ability to edit student options on the collab board while the lesson is active? Also, just as a side note, in the history of history anyone who actively teaches KNOWS that GIFs are a preposterous addition as it is. They add nothing of educational value and just create problems for the less mature students. Why even allow GIFs?
Anyways, that is my rant. If you agree give me an upvote and a positive comment so that we may be seen and heard once again. Godspeed nearpod family!
