Can we PLEASE get a way to get exact/verbatim search results????
At this point I see no way to make the search function offer verbatim results. Instead, it makes assumptions and the 'throw the poo against the wall and see what sticks' method of search results.
This is a frustrating waste of time. So much so that I have moved away from using NP as much as I would like.
For example, I was trying to see if there was a lesson made to help kids with the life skill of using public transportation. In this case- buses. So I searched "buses."
Not only were there no results that I could see, but instead there were so many results for things I did NOT search for! Chemistry 'bases' for example. I searched in quotation marks in an effort to get verbatim results, but still got the same shlock.
If there actually was a result on "buses" I couldn't find it amongst all the noise.
Another time I was searching for SEL, that is - Social Emotional Learning, and it gave me TONS of results for sellers/accounting. <sigh>
Developers: It is perfectly OK to say, "No. No results found." This also tells me what I need to know. It is also fine to then go on to say, "No results for "___xyz____", but maybe this is what you wanted.... (expanded results)."
What is not OK is wasting our very limited time.
