Draw-It: Teacher-created text box
C
Claire Prioleau
I have a PDF's of my fill-in-the-blank quizzes and as a teacher, would like to be able to create pre-set text boxes in each blank. I know that students can do this but I would like to set the text boxes so that they just have a few blanks to type in. As a lower-elementary teacher, I know that it takes time for young students to create their own text box, move it and resize it. It is also hard for them to draw answers with just a mouse. Having the ability to pre-set a text box location would make nearpod draw-it much more efficient.

It would be awesome to be able to insert placed text boxes ourselves (teachers) to the drawing options. It would save time and it would make it easier on students with disabilities.

Even middle school students struggle to make their own text boxes and resize to fit a background image/template.

I have a PDF's of my fill-in-the-blank quizzes/worksheets and as a teacher, would like to be able to create pre-set text boxes in each blank. I know that students can do this but I would like to set the text boxes so that they just have blanks to type in. As a High School Special Ed teacher, I know that it takes time and skill for young students to create their own text box, move it and resize it. It is also hard for them to draw answers with just a mouse. Having the ability to pre-set a text box location would make nearpod draw-it much more efficient. Please notify when this is a reality. Thank you.
