co-teaching access

Please pass on to your leadership that if the co-teacher doesn't have the same access and rights as the other co-teacher, it IS NOT co-teaching friendly. We are co-teachers which means equal. We both need equal rights and access to instructional materials. Any company with educational contracts needs someone on staff that specializes in education and understands the difference between co-teaching and paraprofessionals/teaching assistants, etc. Your current set-up doesn't reflect classroom realities and we will choose other programs that allow more than one "owner" or "teacher" on an equal basis for all functions.

Yes! It is so hard to "co-teach" when I have to ask the other teacher to do something for me.
